As her head hits the pillow when she sleeps,

Softness she feels, as the dreams slowly creep,

Her eyelids shut, they're heavy and tired,

Images float of everything she desires.

The night calmly dawns, bringing some peace,

Her miseries shrink, but ambitions release,

The doors of her eyes are shut for sometime,

In her heart, a window opens so wide.

She stares out of it, admiring nature,

A writer by profession, of a high stature,

Paper, pen and books are all that she needs,

A reclusive life that happily she leads.

In her teenage days, she'd keep a little book,

When she silently wrote, her friends cast a look,

Between her lectures, she'd sneak a peek,

Into the future, where fame she seeks.

01/05/30, her first book comes out,

Kids of all ages scream joy aloud,

Praises pour from authors all around,

She's happy, victorious, a new life she's found.

In her big penthouse, she now lives alone,

The pixie-haired girl, whom everyone's known,

Yes this is her dream, simple yet great,

In the morning, she wakes to her same old fate.

Yours poetically,
