A Littérateur and Logophile

Dear reader,

I, the creator of The Literary Artisan a.k.a. Ayushi Pandey, welcome you to my blog. The English language and most of its aspects have always left me in awe. Since when I was 12 years old, I developed the habit of reading novels. I kickstarted my tryst with books from Harry Potter. And that was the beginning of my journey with fiction! But how did I get into writing?

It's as simple as ABC. These authors have inspired me through their works and respective ascents and struggles in life. Those inked words on the pages stimulate my creative juices to flow. Imagination and ideas rush into my head when I sit with a book and pen in hand. That's the beauty of writing, isn't it? When a writer picks up the pen, they are transported to an entirely different world, far away from reality. These novels I've read have inculcated in me virtues and innovative ideas which I wish to share with the world.

What do I write?  Well, I do write stories, compositions, essays and poems. The kind of poetry and essays I write is more descriptive than narrative.

Poetry to me is being expressive yet inexpressive. It means it is a beautiful form of expressing one's thoughts and feelings on a diverse array of subjects but at the same time, it takes deep insightfulness to understand the emotion buried within the words.

I wish to write more and showcase my writing on a bigger platform. I want my voice to reach out to as many people as possible.

What's there in this blog? Well, there are two categories in this blog:

  1. The Logophilic Essayist (feat. my essays, letters and compositions.)

  2. Cathartic Chronicles (feat. my poems)

If you happen to be someone who respects and cherishes poetry, writing, fiction, the English language and expression, do give The Literary Artisan a chance.

Ayushi.
