Good Kind Words

Writer's picture: Ayushi PandeyAyushi Pandey

"Thank you!" - "The pleasure's all mine,"

"Are you sure you're alright?" - "Yes, thanks I'm fine,"

"You're a very good person," - "Your words made my day,"

"You can do this. Go on." - "That's encouraging to say."

All these dialogues denote as a whole,

Goodness and kindness of the human soul,

In a world where today humans are our rivals,

Our good words can start an essential revival.

It's strange how words exert so much force,

They can break someone's heart or make it less coarse,

You never know, the impact they create,

So choose good words to make them feel great.

A subtle compliment like "You look nice,"

Promotes positive thoughts, kindness has no price,

Praise other people, even if they're mean,

Prove that your heart is viceless and clean.

In fury, your emotions are not controlled,

You end up shouting, becoming too cold,

What do these cuss words do to you then?

Once said, you can't take them back again.

'Be kinder than necessary,' an author taught me that,

Make people feel special, boost them with a pat,

With your good-naturedness, you will reach up above,

He who plants kindness always gathers love.

Yours poetically,
