How are you waking up every morn?
To the start of the day, to a bright new dawn?
How are you working and active all day?
How aren't you dead in the middle of the way?
How is that heart within you still beating?
How are those pairs of limbs still working?
How is the blood in your veins still pumping?
How is your broken soul still crumbling?
How don't you get bored of the same job?
How do you drag yourself to the bus stop?
How are you not putting efforts to search?
For variety and spice, don't live with that smirch.
How does each person have different perspectives?
How does every person have different objectives?
How does desire and greed eat us whole?
How does love and hatred help our character unfold?
How does the sun give out so much heat?
How do the land and sky ever meet?
How does the ice and snow give us chills?
How come the world never comes to a still?
These are some of my queries and doubts,
About earth, life and its unknown whereabouts,
Sometimes, some things will be unresolved,
Nothing's ever true, there are lies involved.
